I used to just blind spend – get whatever I wanted and deal with the financial consequences afterwards. However since leaving home 3 years ago and becoming a Mother I have had to grow up and be (slightly) more spending Savvy.
I am also kind of obsessed with this minimal trend thats happening. I would love to join the capsule wardrobe crew however I love shopping way way too much!
Below I have listed my fave beauty, Clothing&Shoes and bits for Ottilie that I got in March. – Note some were gifts for Birthday, Mothers Day etc.

Daisy Dream by Marc Jacobs
I smelt this amazing fragrance in Debenhams a few weeks before Mothers day – so of course sent the un subtle hint of a photo to the other half. I have worn it everyday since. Such a light and beautiful smell that works for full on Mum days and work ones alike.
Beyond perfecting Foundation and concealer – this is by far the best foundation I have used from Clinique. I wanted something a bit longer lasting than my usual Bare minerals powder. However I usually find Clinique foundations a bit heavy. This one is lovely and light and lasts all day even with major face rubbing and toddler poking.
Chubby Stick sculpting Highlighter – I love highlighting and contouring when I have time but for day to day use I was looking for something a bit quicker and easier than the kits. I love the chubby sticks for lips and eyes so thought I would try the highlighter. Its A M A Z I N G! So easy to apply and like the foundation lasts all day!
Pep-Start™ HydroBlur Moisturizer – This was a tester as part of a Clinique promotion. I thought I would give it a go as their daily moisturiser is my go to. It is really good for under make up to even the skin before applying. Almost like a slightly more moisturising primer. Will definitely be buying once the tester runs out!
Note – really impressed with Clinique giving full size testers in their recent promotions!
FaceINC sheet face masks by NaisINC London.
I got given these for Mothers Day by the OH (not sure if he was hinting my skin was in need of one or not). I love the sheet face masks as there is no fuss with sticky gunge in your hair or peeling way too much than you want to off your face. They are simple to use and far more relaxing. So far I have used the Instant Detox one and it was so lovely! With the house sale and a heap of work I have been a bit run down recently so it gave my skin the clear out it needed. I will be using the Cat Nap brightening sheet mask at the weekend before I go for a girls night.

Baby Gap Tutu Leggings
We got Ottilie these leggings in September last year in size 12 – 18 months. She has only just grown out of them so we decided to get the next size during Gaps amazing 75% off sale. We bought the grey and the pink (pictured above). They make any outfit look beautiful and Ottilie adores her little tutu. Usual tutus don’t seem to fit her well as like all other toddlers she is yet to gain a waist. They either fall down or ride up. Having it attached to the leggings is great.
Minnie Mouse slouchy Sweater from Next
If you read my H&M haul blog post for March you will have seen Ottilies wardrobe already has a lot of Minnie Mouse bits and pieces. When I saw this sweater in next I couldn’t believe how soft it was. The simple design is so lovely and perfect for this in between Spring weather!
Adidas Princess Crown trainers
I have had my eye on these for a few months now and decided I was finally going to get them. Ottilie is usually a Bobux shoes through and through but she wrecks them so quickly so I decided to get her some trainers for the park and playing. They are so light and fit her really well. For half the price of her usual shoes I am less worried about her wearing these to the ground. Plus – who can really resist crowns all over their shoes?!
Clothes&Accessories for M E
Zara Flat beaded Slides
Probably my favourite shoes ever?! A b i g statement but honestly they are amazing. Comfortable, stylish and so so cool! Perfect for the transition from trainers to toes out for summer!
ZARA silk slides
A slightly less fun slide from Zara but just as comfortable and amazing. Slides must be one of the most flattering shoes for a foot?! I am going to use these mainly for work and evenings as they are just so beautiful and deserve to be put with smarter clothes.
New Look Breton top
Who doesn’t Love Breton? Breton at only £12.99 is a whole new love. I got this particular one in more than one colour (blush pink also available) Perfect thickness between a sweater and a T shirt. Already know this paired with my dungarees will be a staple Spring outfit.
