Oreo Rocky Road

Oreo Rocky Road

4 steps & 4 Ingredients

oreo rocky road

60 grams mini marshmallows
200 grams plain Oreos
300 grams good quality white chocolate
200 grams good quality dark or milk chocolate

To Make the Oreo Rocky Road

1.Line a 20cm round or square cake tin with baking parchment paper. Roughly chop 100grams of Oreos into small pieces.

   2. Put your white chocolate in a large bowl and melt in the microwave until it is just melted and has no lumps.

3. Add the crushed Oreos and mini marshmallows into the white chocolate and stir. Once all the mixture is coated in chocolate, pour it into the prepared tin and gentl
y smooth the top. Pop your tin into the fridge for 1 hour or until your chocolate has set.

4. Next, chop the remaining 100g of Oreos into larger pieces (see
photo) – about 2 pieces per cookie to use as decoration. Add your dark or milk chocolate to a large mixing bowl. Melt your dark chocolate in the microwave using the same technique as the white chocolate, stirring in-between 10 second bursts until it is just melted. Pour your chocolate over your rocky road. Then pop your Oreo pieces on top, pressing down slightly so they stick. Refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours or until set.

I recommend leaving the oreo rocky road out of the fridge for 10-15 minutes prior to serving to allow the chocolate to soften slightly, making it easier to cut and eat!

P.S I tend to use the Aldi Oreos as they are half the price and just as tasty!
